Good Times

April 17th, 2017 — 7:17pm

I thought I might die laughing several times during Easter dinner with our darling Jenna and her family yesterday afternoon–actually stop being able to breathe, I was laughing so hard. So was everyone. I close my eyes and see Deren grinning, Harold covering his face with hands and shaking his head, Rick giving an evil wink. Jenna smiles wide, Vince chortles, Onnalee bangs on her tray in time to the hilarity, and young Abe beams benevolently from his perch in his dad’s arms. I struggle to catch my breath, not really caring if I do or I don’t.

Well, what better way to go? A time like that is pure poetry. So here’s another post in honor of it.

South of Superior and the Radio Reader…

September 15th, 2015 — 10:49pm

I’m so happy that Dick Estelle is going to read SOUTH OF SUPERIOR on The Radio Reader.  Starting tomorrow!  Sept. 16 through October 16 he’ll be relating the stories of Madeline and Gladys and Arbutus and Randi and Greyson and Paul in his wonderful voice.  I’m thrilled and honored.  Check out the station schedule at radioreader.net for station schedules.
